OUR NEWS!

A massive thank you to Janet & Cj

I have been very lucky to of had an amazing week doing work experience at Harvest Moon with my Auntie Janet and cousin Christine. It has been great to spend some quality time with them doing something they are so passionate for which is evident in everything they do. It is part of my school curriculum that in year 10 you do a weeks work experience and i do not regret asking to come to Harvest Moon one bit. I have experienced so many different things in just 5 days - i wish i could stay on forever! I eventually got the hang of working the till, the labeller and doing stock takes with the help of Janet & Cj. I learnt about crystals, incense and the importance of Fair Trade. I got spoilt with hot chocolate and buns throughout the week and accomplished trying many different types of subways during my lunch break! Ha!

I am very grateful to them both with putting up with my little knowledge of 'shop-life' and teaching me so many valuable skills. Also providing me with many laughs along the way! I was very lucky to have such a good time and how easy they made it for me to enjoy!

So thank you again, if you ever need someone at last minute just say as I will be there in seconds! (as long as there is a bus ahaha!)
Also thank you for my treat at the end of the week, it is sitting proudly on my desk as we speak!

Love Juliet xxx

CJ has worked at Harvest Moon for ten years!
Starting as a Saturday sales assistant, coming back full time
after college and then becoming manageress 5 years ago.
Now she's off to a new challenge and is leaving Harvest Moon in May.
Cj is set to take up work at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge,
for the Blood and Organ Donor service and will take her passion
for campaigning and customer care into her new role.
We will miss her terribly and wish her every success and happiness.
